Meet UB-22
Introducing Underbird 22, 49ers Racing’s entry for the 2022 FSAE IC Competition. Coming out of the pandemic, the last car built by our students was 2018. This lack of member retention and knowledge transfer forced our team to start from scratch. UB-22 exemplifies the basics of what FSAE is. It features a KTM 510 along with push rod suspension all around. This car served as a learning platform to develop toward the future.
UB-22 finished 25th overall at competition with a notable placement of 8th in endurance.
