MEET UB-24
Introducing Underbird 24, 49ers Racing’s entry for the 2024 FSAE IC Competition. Named after NASCAR champion Alan Kulwicki’s iconic nickname, this vehicle exemplifies the fusion of cutting-edge engineering and motorsports excellence. This car is a direct results of thousands of hours dedicated by students over the course of 18 months. The lessons learned from the previous two cars allowed our engineers to create the best car in our programs history.
The UB-24 not only delivered outstanding performance on the track but also earned an impressive 2nd place overall in the competition: 49ers Racing’s highest placement ever.
